Hold Still is a new site, and an offshoot of CindyHamiltonPhotography.com, where my fine art and nature shots will continue to be displayed. Truth is, I won a new website in a photography contest, and decided to separate the two parts of my photography, which gives me a chance to weed out my other site. I have been a serious photographer for ten years, and a teacher for more than 40 years (gasp!). I like to think that my years in the classroom have helped me anticipate good shots, and that I can relate to families and children from all of those years of experience. My husband and I have two grown children, two granddaughters, two golden retrievers, two cockatiels, and an African Gray parrot named Homer Herod Hamilton. We are both also musicians (Bluegrass music)and travel, whenever we can, as far away as we can. The photographic fruits of those trips are on my other website, cindyhamiltonphotography.com. I began with a Nikon film camera, and continue to be a Nikon shooter after all these years. I have a myriad of lenses and studio equipment, and still love the challenge of figuring it all out. Having a hobby that has turned into my second profession is awesome. |
